We offer training workshops and individual coaching programs that support families and professionals to better understand and respond to challenging behaviours in children, using the Nurtured Heart Approach®.
Rather than trying to reduce or control intensity, the Nurtured Heart Approach® focuses on strengthening a child’s inner world. By intentionally building a child’s Inner Wealth, children are supported to develop self regulation, confidence, and a strong sense of self from the inside out.
The approach is grounded in the belief that every child has inherent greatness. When adults learn how to recognise and nurture this, relationships shift, behaviours change, and children are empowered to use their energy, passion, and intensity in positive and meaningful ways.
Key Principles of the Nurtured Heart Approach®
Teaches adults to energise, recognise and celebrate a child’s successes and strengths in the moment, rather than focusing on what’s going wrong.
Encourages supportive, connected relationships by shifting how caregivers interact with children and communicate what they value.
Helps children build Inner Wealth™ — including emotional regulation, self-worth, self-awareness and resilience — so they can make positive choices from strength.
Uses the “3 Stands™” framework (refusing to energise negative behaviour, energising success, and maintaining clear, consistent boundaries) to create predictable, positive environments.
Focuses on transforming intense or challenging behaviour by helping children associate positive attention with constructive actions, not disruption or attention-seeking.
Applicable across settings — in families, classrooms, and therapeutic environments — and for children of all ages and behavioural profiles.
